Muslim Dating 101
Muslims should not date! A lot of people are taken aback when they learn about Muslim dating practices. Many also think that all Muslim marriages are arranged. Although there are some instances when they do not meet their spouse until the day of their wedding that is not always the case. Marriage is a huge deal for Muslims. In fact, the religion dictates that those who are able to marry must get married. Once a Muslim decided that he or she is ready to tie the knot, he or she won’t go through the kind of dating that we have in mind- no recreational dating is allowed in their culture. The guy must go to the girl’s house and meet her entire family- yes, this continues to happen up to this day. Family is an integral part of the Muslim’s culture and no relationship should prosper unless both the family of the guy and the girl bless it.
